Ben, Lia, and the kids brought lunch for a surprise party yesterday.  It was such a great day!

The Ocean!

We drove about an hour and a half to the Washington coast today.  It was monochromatic, but beautiful.

There was a clam-dig today.: people standing in the sand at low tide as far as you could see in either direction

Mr Wonderful (aka Alexander) is, truly, wonderful!  He is sweet and beautiful and such a cutie!  Unfortunately, I missed Lia, Ben, Aya, and Steven by seconds tonight after I got off work, but I'm sure they won't be able to stay away long!

It amazes me that Patrick can be at once so strong and so incredibly gentle.
