I'm so blessed!

My best friend from Ohio Ashley is here visiting her cousin, aunt, and me this week. We spent yesterday relaxing by the pool in between a tasty brunch and delicious dinner and were all over the place today!

We began with an early morning among the redwoods

Next we went to Stinson Beach (I forgot to take photos), and then to Sausalito for lunch and some sunshine!

My bridge has been hiding under her cloak of fog the entire time Ashley has been here, so we were very happy to have a clear day to drive and walk across it!

 It was an exhausting but wonderful day!

San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

I took the day to explore the recently reopened SF MoMA. What a great idea!

Aquarium

Most of the Calder mobiles are in a gallery that opens onto a terrace. Every time the doors opened or closed, the mobiles would dance (and elicit excitement from everyone in the gallery)

My coffee break made me miss Italy!

The building is beautiful and has several outdoor spaces. I took advantage of them to rest and breathe some fog before heading back in.

After a snack, I took my evening walk around the lake to loosen up and then came back home for dinner and getting ready for the week.

I start PT Wednesday and am not supposed to run until he gives me the ok. I am, however, encouraged to swim, which is awesome!
